Mother Can You Hear Me?

"Mother, Can You Hear Me?"

Mother, can you hear me?
I'm calling your name.
Whispering secrets,
Playing their game.

Shredded pieces,
as they try to hide.
Covering shadows,
not knowing they lied.

Can you hear me,
Call out through the night,
The newborn cry,
trying to fight.

Can you hear it now,
as the sound begins to rise.
Screaming in pain,
drowning the lies.

Covering ears,
you cannot escape.
Do you hear me now mother?
because it's starting to fade.
